The Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry was established by AkzoNobel in 1999 and has recognized more than 75 women over the past 14 years. The program’s charter has been to recognize women who have enriched the industry with their leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence. The honorees have held positions in every facet of the collision repair industry. The program has recognized women for their professional accomplishments but also for going beyond the requirements of their positions to give back to their communities.
The MIW program transitioned to WIN in June 2013 and will remain with WIN to administer going forward. In conjunction with WIN’s 2014 Educational Conference, to be held May 5-7, 2014 in San Diego, California, we will be honoring the Most Influential Women in the collision repair industry.
The following criteria will be considered in evaluation of the nominees:
There will be the opportunity for the 2014 Most Influential Women honorees to mentor WIN’s secondary and post-secondary scholarship winners going forward.
The nomination form is to be sent to the WIN MIW Committee for review and recommendation to the WIN Board. The Board will be responsible for the approval and selection of honorees. A member of the MIW Committee will contact and handle arrangements for the honorees. Honorees will be contacted by February 1, 2014.
