What is WIN?

WIN is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging, developing and cultivating opportunities to attract women to collision repair while recognizing excellence, promoting leadership, and fostering a network among the women who are shaping the industry.

Why should I attend the WIN Educational Conference?

In addition to the inspiring Keynote speakers and breakout sessions, the WIN Educational Conference is a unique opportunity to meet and network with women in the Collision Industry. This conference is a place where relationships are built that will enrich your life on a business and a personal level.  We encourage you to take this opportunity to join this group of dynamic, forward thinking women in the collision industry! You won’t regret it.

What is included in the registration fee?

  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday General Sessions
  • Monday night activities
  • Tuesday keynote, speakers & educational breakout sessions
  • Most Influential Women (MIW) ceremony & Gala reception (Tuesday night)
  • Meals include: Monday breaks and evening snacks, Tuesday breakfast, lunch, breaks & Gala reception, Wednesday breakfast & breaks.  If you have any meal/food restrictions please indicate that when at registration.  That information will then be shared with the hotel dining staff at Conference.


  • We will have one or more photographers on site during conference, taking posed and candid photos.   At registration if you wish to not have your photo displayed in any WIN promotional materials and/or candidly on the WIN website you can request your name be shared with the photographer and the conference committee.
  • On the registration site, there is an opportunity to sign up for a ‘head shot’ to be used in the WIN directory. This head shot is available to new and existing members who may wish to have their photo updated.

What is the Scholarship Walk?

The scholarship walk is an event started more than 10 years ago at the WIN Conference in Chicago where our dedicated attendees walked in the snow!  The walk raises money for the WIN Scholarship Fund.   WIN is committed to financially supporting women who demonstrate their desire to excel in the Collision Industry. We offer a variety of scholarships and financial awards that can provide tuition assistance, educational opportunities, and enrichment events to qualified applicants. In addition, each scholarship recipient receives a one-year membership to WIN and the opportunity to be mentored by a WIN Board Member or Most Influential Women honoree in an effort to further support their journey and provide a sense of community as they pursue their goals.

It is easy to register for the walk when you register for the Conference, but if you didn’t you can still sign up to walk or make a donation while at the Conference.   This is a fun event that starts with a warm-up at 7:00 a.m. and the walk starts approximately 7:30 a.m.  on Tuesday morning.  It’s not a marathon, just a nice, easy walk that’s about 30 minutes long.  Your $25 contribution or any additional amount you’d like to contribute goes directly to the WIN Scholarship Fund.  Cash, credit cards or checks (made out to Women’s Industry Network) are accepted. 

Each year the Scholarship Walk committee selects a T-shirt to commemorate the walk and they can be purchased on line during registration- with requested size or there will be a small number of extras for sale at conference.  Plan to wear your WIN Wear and be a proud WIN walker!

What is the Most Influential Women (MIW) Award?

The Most Influential Women award recognizes women who have enriched the collision repair industry with their leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence. These women have gone beyond the confines of their job description to give back to their companies, their profession and their communities

Honorees have held positions in every facet of the collision repair industry, as shop owners, body and paint technicians, managers, wholesalers, lobbyists, suppliers, insurance adjusters, consultants, educators, editors and writers, and industry association directors.

This event is included in your conference registration fee and we encourage everyone to attend. The dress code for this event is dressy business or cocktail attire. 

Past MIW honorees will be recognized at this event.  Please take this opportunity to network with this amazing group of women who have shaped our industry over the years. 

What should I wear?

One of the most frequently asked questions about the Conference!  Well, WIN is about the person, not the package.  The Conference is a time to be open, engaged and comfortable.  So, whatever you choose that is casual, business casual, business or something in between…bring attire that you are comfortable wearing at an industry event of this nature. 

  • Monday Evening Scavenger Hunt,  bring clothes and shoes to match this fun experience.  This activity starts are 5:00 P.M. on Monday evening, so be in comfortable shoes and clothing to be outside for up to 90 minutes.  If you have a WIN shirt from a prior event or are purchasing one this year, please plan to wear it while enjoying the hunt event and market our WIN brand event.
  • General Session and Breakouts will be held in hotel meeting rooms of varying sizes.  Be comfortable, but remember that sometimes the temperature in these rooms can be hard to regulate.
  • Gala Dinner & Most Influential Women Ceremony will be held on Tuesday night and will be a semi-formal event.  We look forward to seeing you decked out in your dressy business or cocktail attire. 
  • If you are joining the Scholarship Walk you may want to include some comfortable casual or workout clothes… and don’t forget your sneakers!

Westin Denver Downtown

Located in vibrant LoDo, the Westin Denver Downtown is near the famous 16th Street Mall and a mere 5 blocks from Union Station, the arrival station from Denver International Airport. Enjoy a guided walking tour of Denver’s architectural treasures, take in some culture at the Denver Art Museum or Denver Center for Performing Arts, or opt for a swim with the sharks at the Downtown Aquarium. Take a stroll down Larimar Square, one of the most historic blocks in downtown, and discover locally-owned shops and a blossoming culinary scene – downtown’s most exciting things to do and see are all nearby. 

  • Take a plunge in the rooftop pool with sundeck, work out in the fitness center with a half basketball court or just relax and unwind in one of the spacious guest rooms with beautiful views of the mountains or beautiful downtown
  • The conference room rate is honored (3) three days prior and (3) three days post conference.  Many of our attendees take advantage of this special rate to enjoy some sight-seeing and socializing with industry friends prior to and after conference.  We encourage you to join the WIN website and “Connect” with other attendees once you are on site.

What are the transportation options when I arrive?

  • The University of Colorado A Line train provides easy and affordable transportation between downtown Denver, Denver International Airport and along I-70.  Cost: local ($2.60), regional ($4.50) and airport fare ($9.00).  The train departs every 15 minutes and as 8 stations total including Union Station and the Denver Airport Station.  The Union Station stop is approximately .8 miles from the Westin Denver Downtown.

  • If you are bringing a vehicle to park, the cost is $40 for valet and $26 for self-park.

What else should I bring?

One of the goals at the Conference is to provide lots of time and opportunity for you to network with colleagues from across the industry.  Remember to bring business cards so others can reach you after Conference.

If you’ve attended prior WIN conferences, be sure to bring your WIN Commemorative Pins and celebrate another year under your belt.  Don’t forget your Crystal Lanyard from the 2014 conference!

How do I connect with other WIN members after I arrive?

If you haven’t already registered as a member on the WIN website we encourage you to do so prior to Conference.  We will be using the “Connect” or groups section of the website to help members connect during their pre or post Conference time.  Watch the website for updates on this exciting new way to meet up with friends and fellow members of WIN. Be sure and bookmark the WIN website on your smart device before you leave for Conference.

How do I get more involved with WIN?

The best way to get more involved with WIN is to join a committee.  We invite you to check out the committee descriptions on the website and find one you’d enjoy participating in.   You will have an opportunity to sign up for a committee during conference or you are welcome to contact the Committee chair and ask to be included on their next call. Most of the committees meet once a month for conference call that normally runs from 30-60 minutes.
